- Exponent Expressions
Expand and simplify (27+1)(7−1)−(7−1)(2\sqrt{7} + 1)(\sqrt{7} - 1) - (\sqrt{7} - 1)(27+1)(7−1)−(7−1).
First, notice that (7−1)(\sqrt{7} - 1)(7−1) is a common factor:
=(7−1)[(27+1)−1]= (\sqrt{7} - 1)\bigl[(2\sqrt{7} + 1) - 1\bigr]=(7−1)[(27+1)−1]
=(7−1)(27)= (\sqrt{7} - 1)(2\sqrt{7})=(7−1)(27)
=27⋅7−27⋅1= 2\sqrt{7} \cdot \sqrt{7} - 2\sqrt{7} \cdot 1=27⋅7−27⋅1
=2⋅7−27= 2 \cdot 7 - 2\sqrt{7}=2⋅7−27
=14−27= 14 - 2\sqrt{7}=14−27
