The midpoint formula gives the point halfway between two points:

$M = \left(\frac{x_1 + x_2}{2}, \frac{y_1 + y_2}{2}\right)$

With $G(2, 6)$ and $H(10, 14)$:

$M = \left(\frac{2 + 10}{2}, \frac{6 + 14}{2}\right) = \left(\frac{12}{2}, \frac{20}{2}\right) = (6, 10)$
